Berry Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 250 gm sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 5 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp orange peel
  • Pinch of salt

Method:

  1. In a sauce pan put all the cranberries with water and let it boil on medium heat.
  2. When the berries starts to tenderize or burst, add sugar and orange juice and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add cinnamon powder when sauce gets thick, then add salt and orange peel and cook for further 5 minutes.
  4. After that remove the pan from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  5. Serve.

This berry sauce can be used in making sandwiches, burgers, etc.
