Ingredients:

  • Big tomatoes 6
  • Mince 1/2 kg
  • Chopped onion 2
  • Green chilies 4
  • Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Onion seeds 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tbsp
  • Tamarind paste 2 tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First cup upper portion of big tomatoes and take out its pulp.
  2. Now put machine grinded mince, tomatoes pulp, some oil, salt, turmeric and red chili flakes in karahi pan and roast it.
  3. Then ad tamarind paste and onion seeds, keep on simmer for 5 minutes, remove it and cool it.
  4. After that, mix chopped onion, finely chopped green chilies and finely chopped green coriander.
  5. Now fill tomato one by one  by mince carefully, keep upper portion and close with toothpicks.
  6. Then spread remaining mince in big pot.
  7. After that, fry tomatoes lightly in frying pan and put on mince.
  8. Now put 3 tbsp oil on top, cover it and simmer for 5 minutes.
  9. Serve delicious bharay howay tamatar with hot chapati.
