Masala Chicken Wings by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Chicken wings 1/2 kg
  • Sliced onions 2
  • Sliced tomatoes 3
  • Diced capsicum 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 1-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Dry red chilies 3
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 1/2 tsp
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 1/2
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 2 tsp

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken wings by drizzling the chicken wings with oil.
  2. Then add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder and cumin powder, salt to taste and let marinate few hours.
  3. Heat oil and sear the wings in it, add salt to taste.
  4. For the masala: Heat oil and add dry red chilies, cumin seeds and coriander seeds.
  5. Saute it lightly. Then add the chicken wings.
  6. Add onions and saute till golden brown.
  7. Add tomatoes and cook
  8. lemon juice and capsicum and let it cook.
  9. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves for garnish.
