Chicken Fingers With Tartar Sauce by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Chicken fillets 200 grams
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Egg 1
  • Flour 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper 1/4 tsp
  • White pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

For Tartar Sauce:

  • Mayonnaise as required
  • Mustard paste as required
  • Lemon juice as required
  • Icing sugar as required
  • Cucumber as required
  • Carrot as required
  • Black and green olives as required

Method:

  1. Cut chicken into strips.
  2. In a bowl, add chopped garlic, egg, flour, corn flour, all spices and make smooth mixture.
  3. If mixture gets thick then add 4 tbsp water.
  4. Add salt, black pepper powder, dry flour in the chicken.
  5. Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture, and fry.
  6. For the tartar sauce: mix mayonnaise, mustard paste, lemon juice, icing sugar, cucumber carrot, and black and green olives.
