Ingredients:

  • Rice 2 cups
  • Curry leaves 1 bunch
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Chopped green chilies 4
  • Chopped green coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Chopped mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Butter 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Soak rice for 30 minutes. Wash curry leaves and chop finely. Grind white cumin thick thick.
  2. Now heat oil in pot, put finely chopped curry leaves, chopped mint leaves, chopped green coriander, chopped green chilies, white cumin and crushed black pepper and roast it lightly.
  3. Then put 3 cups water. When water boils, take out water of rice and put in pot. Together add salt and cover it.
  4. When water dries, keep pot on tawa and leave rice for simmer. Then add butter. Serve curry pata pulao with raita.
