Ingredients:

  • Kabuli chickpeas 1 cup
  • Green lentil 1/2 cup
  • Soda bi carbonate 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
  • Roasted cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • Tamarind paste 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Boiled potatoes 4
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Papri 1 packet
  • Green chilies 5-6
  • Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Lemons 2
  • Peanuts 1/2 cup
  • Oil 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Wash kabuli chickpeas with lukewarm water and soak it. Drain water on next day, put fresh lukewarm water, put green lentil and cook it.
  2. When chickpea tender and is some burst little, put soda.
  3. Then add red chili flakes, roasted cumin powder, tamarind paste, salt and boiled potatoes.
  4. Take out hot chaat in dish, put chopped onion, papri, green chilies, mint leaves, peanuts and lemon juice and serve hot.
