Mixed Vegetable Pakora by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Onions 100 gm
  • Brinjal 100 gm
  • Cauliflower 100 gm
  • Potatoes 100 gm

Batter:

  • Gram flour 200 gm
  • Little water
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed cumin 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Baking soda 1 tsp
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Chaat Masala to taste

Method:

  1. Slice all vegetables into thin slices or rounds.
  2. Make a thick batter with water, gram flour, red chilli powder, cumin, turmeric, salt, and baking soda.
  3. Coat each vegetable slice with batter and deep fry.
  4. Sprinkle with chaat masala and serve with ketchup or chutney.
