Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1 kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Chopped onions 4
  • Degi red chillies 4
  • White vinegar few drops
  • Whole coriander 2 tbsp
  • Crushed all spices 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Rogan josh masala 1 tbsp
  • Kewra 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee 1 cup
  • Salt as required

For Simmer:

  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Black cumin 1 tsp
  • Almonds 10
  • Small cardamom 8

Method:

  1. Heat ghee in pot, fry onion until golden brown and take it out.
  2. Now put mutton, salt and ginger garlic paste in ghee.
  3. Then grind onion and yogurt together in blender.
  4. Then put degi red chilies in some water, add white vinegar and boil it.
  5. Then blend red chili and whole coriander with some water.
  6. When water of mutton dries, put onion and yogurt and roast it lightly.
  7. Then put crushed red chili  and crushed all spices and roast it lightly.
  8. Now add 2 cup hot water.
  9. When ghee comes up, grind poppy seeds, black cumin, almonds and small cardamom and put it.
  10. In end, put rogan josh masala and keep on simmer for 10 minutes on low flame.
  11. Degi korma is ready.
