Ingredients:

  • Butter 4 oz
  • Caster sugar 2 oz
  • Flour 8 oz
  • Egg yolk 1
  • Chilled water as required

For Brownie:

  • Butter 6 oz
  • Chocolate 200 gm
  • Eggs 3
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Flour 1 cup
  • Chocolate chip 1 cup
  • Sugar 1-1/4 cup

Method:

  1. For base: Beat butter and caster sugar.
  2. Now put flour and mix it until it comes in shape of crumbs.
  3. Then knead with chilled water until dough shape comes.
  4. Now spread in 8 inch pie plate, mark cuts with fork and bake in preheated oven on 180 degrees C.
  5. For brownie: Put chocolate and butter in sauce pan and cook until both melts.
  6. Now put in bowl, put sugar and beat it.
  7. Then add eggs 1 by 1 and beat it.
  8. Now fold vanilla essence, salt and flour and mix chocolate chips.
  9. Now fold mixture on base and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  10. Then set in preheated oven for 40 minutes.
  11. Then cool it and dust with icing sugar.
  12. Then cut it and serve.
