Zeera wale chawal

Ingredients:

  • oil 4-6 tbsp
  • Onion 1 pcs
  • clve 2 pcs
  • whole black pepper 4 pcs
  • cinnamon stick 1 pcs
  • bay leaf 1 pcs
  • cumin 1 tbsp
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • rice 1-1/2 cup

Method:

  1. In a sauce pan heat oil and saute onions till they are golden brown
  2. Add in all the spices (masalas ) and cook for 1 minute then add 2-1/2 cup water and let it boil
  3. Next add in soaked rice , boil and then increase the flame put the lid on the pot and let it cook.
  4. When the water evaporates lower the flame , cover and keep it on dam for 6-7 minutes.
  5. When its ready serve while hot.

Palak Paneer

Ingredients:

  • Milk 1 ltr
  • Lemon juice / vingar 2-3 tbsp
  • oil 1/2 cup
  • spinach 500 gm
  • crushed red chili 1 tbsp
  • mix spice pwd 1/2 tsp
  • garlic 2-3clove 
  • onion 1/2 cup
  • cream 1 cup
  • salt as required

Method:

  1. In a pan heat oil and use lemon juice or vinegar to make it curdle.
  2. When the paneer is ready hang it.
  3. Heat up oil and fry garlic.
  4. Add in spinach , crushed red chilies. salt and cook
  5. In the end add paneer and garam masala.
  6. Serve with makai ki roti

Makki ki roti

Ingredients:

  • Makki ka atta 1-1/2 cup
  • chakki ka atta 1-1/2 cup
  • ghee/butter as required
  • water as required
  • salt as required

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients and kneed into a dough
  2. Now make roti's out of the atta and cook on a hot tava.
  3. The makki ki roti is ready
