Pineapple Butter Scotch Trifle by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Milk 1 liter
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla custard powder 4 tbsp
  • Pineapple puree 1 cup
  • Condensed milk 4 tbsp
  • Cream 1/2 cup

For Pineapple Layer:

  • Pineapple cubes 1 cup
  • Pineapple jelly 1 packet

For Butter Scotch Sauce:

  • Butter 2 oz
  • Brown sugar 1/2 cup
  • Cream 1/2 cup
  • Butter scotch essence few drops

Method:

  1. Make custard and cool it.
  2. Now put condensed milk, pineapple puree and cream and cook for butter scotch in sauce pan until thick.
  3. Then take it out and cool it.
  4. For assemble: Spread layer of custard in bottom of dessert bowl.
  5. Then make thick layer of pineapple chinks.
  6. Now put butter scotch sauce.
  7. Then cover with pineapple chunks.
  8. Now make layer again and serve cold.
