Fish & Tamarind Sauce by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Fish fillets 1/2 kg
  • White pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Chicken powder 1 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Flour 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Garlic crushed 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies 6
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Tamarind pulp 1/2 cup
  • Salt as required

Method:

  1. For tamarind sauce: Put 1-1/2 cup water, tamarind pulp and 6 tbsp sugar and cook for 10 minutes.
  2. Then put 3 tbsp coriander and 2 tbsp corn flour and make sauce thick.
  3. For fish: Marinate fish with with salt, white pepper, chicken powder, egg, flour and corn flour.
  4. In end, deep fry fish in hot oil.
