Fish Karahi by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Boneless fish 1/2 kg
  • Lemon juice 1/4 cup
  • Chopped onion 1 cup
  • Cumin crushed 1 tsp
  • Tomato slice 4
  • Ginger slice 2 tbsp
  • Chili powder 2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tsp
  • Roasted & crushed coriander 1 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Carom seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Green chilies 3
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Kasoori methi 1 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Marinate fish with lemon juice and cumin.
  2. Now heat oil in pan and fry onion until light golden.
  3. Then put ginger garlic, tomato slice, salt, coriander, chili powder, carom seeds, all spice, green chilies and fish and add 1/2 cup water.
  4. Now cover pan and simmer it.
  5. In end, garnish with kasoori methi, coriander leaves and ginger slice and serve.
