Ingredients:

  • Maida 1/2 cup
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Yellow color 1 pinch
  • Egg 1
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp

For Sugar Syrup:

  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Water 1-1/2 cup
  • Rose water 1 tsp
  • Silver paper as required

Method:

  1. Put maida in bowl.
  2. Now add yogurt, egg, cardamom powder and yellow color and make thick batter with water.
  3. Heat ghee in frying pan and fry baray until light golden.
  4. For syrup: Make syrup with water and sugar until thick.
  5. Now put rose water and keep it aside.
  6. Then dip ready baray in syrup and take out in platter.
  7. Then garnish with silver paper.
