Imli Ka Sharbat by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Tamarind 250 gm
  • Ginger paste 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1/2 cup
  • Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Black salt 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ice cubes as required

Method:

  1. Soak tamarind in water.
  2. When soft, take it out and separate pulp.
  3. Now add tamarind pulp and water in blender and blend it.
  4. Now strain it with muslin cloth.
  5. Then add ginger paste, all spice powder, sugar, black pepper, lemon juice, mint leaves, black salt and salt and blend again.
  6. Then add ice cubes and serve.
