Ginger Rice by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Rice 2 cups
  • Green chilies julienne 8
  • Ginger finely chopped 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tsp
  • White vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Chicken powder 1 tbsp
  • Spring onion leaves chopped 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Wash rice, add salt and vinegar, boil it 2/4, strain it and simmer it.
  2. Then heat oil in wok, add ginger and green chilies and fry it lightly.
  3. Now put rice, soya sauce, vinegar, sugar and chicken powder and mix it nicely.
  4. When serve, put spring onion leaves.
  5. Ginger rice is ready.
