Ingredients:

  • Chicken fillet 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Onion 1
  • Green cardamoms 6
  • Lemons 4
  • Chopped mint leaves 1 bunch
  • Green chilies 4
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper 1 tbsp
  • Raw papaya paste 1 tbsp
  • Roasted gram 1 tbsp
  • Bihari masala 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Hammer chicken fillet slightly and marinate with yogurt, raw papaya paste, ginger garlic paste and salt.
  2. Now mix poppy seeds, cumin seeds, roasted gram, green cardamoms and black pepper and grind finely and mix in pasanday.
  3. Then heat oil, fry onion until golden brown and take it out.
  4. Then put masalay pasanday.
  5. Also put turmeric, bihari masala, red chili and lemon juice, cover it and cook it.
  6. When water dries, roast it slightly and simmer it.
  7. Then take out in dish, put fried onion, mint leaves and green chilies and serve with naan or parathay.

Chicken Pasanday is popular dish of Pakistan. It is prepared with Chicken Fillet, marinated with Yogurt, Spices & Seasonings and served with Green Chilies, Naan or Parathay.
