Ingredients:

  • Milk 2 liter
  • Saffron 1/2 tsp
  • Yellow food color 1 pinch
  • Fresh cream 1 cup
  • Rice soaked 1 cup
  • Khoya 1 cup
  • Sugar 1-1/2 cup
  • Almonds 50 gm
  • Pistachios 50 gm
  • Currants 50 gm
  • Coconut 50 gm
  • Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
  • Silver leaves 2

Method:

  1. Cook 2 liter milk.
  2. Now put saffron, rice and 1 cup milk in blender and blend it.
  3. Then put in boiled milk and cook on low flame.
  4. When thick, put sugar.
  5. Then add khoya, food color and cardamom powder.
  6. Then take out in dish, garnish with almonds, pistachios, currants, coconut and silver leaves and serve.

Mughlai Kesari Kheer is Mughlai Sweet Dish. It is prepared with Milk & Rice and garnished with Nuts & Silver Leaves. It is prepared on Muslims Festival such as Eid ul-Fitr and Eid ul-Adha.
