Ingredients:

  • Rice 2 cups
  • Moong daal (soaked) 1 cup
  • Masoor daal (soaked) 1 cup
  • Onion 1
  • Tomatoes 250 gm
  • Cumin 2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Green chilies 4
  • Garlic cloves 4
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion until brown.
  2. Now put tomatoes, cumin, salt, green chilies, garlic and red chili powder and roast it little.
  3. Then add moong daal, masoor daal and rice.
  4. Now put 2 cups water.
  5. When it boils, put coriander leaves and mint leaves and close stove.
  6. Traditional daal chawal is ready.

Traditional Daal Chawal is Traditional Pakistani Dish. It is common dish in Pakistan. People of Pakistan like this dish very much.
