ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Green cardamom 6
  • Black cardamom 2
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped onion 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Chopped tomatoes 2
  • Tomato paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Whole red chilies 6
  • Chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Chopped green chilies 2

Method:

  1. Marinate mutton with salt and yogurt for 30 minutes.
  2. Now heat oil and fry green cardamom, black cardamom, bay leaf and chopped onion until light brown.
  3. Then add ginger garlic paste with red chili powder, turmeric, salt, cumin powder, whole red chilies, coriander powder and marinated mutton, cover it and cook on low flame.
  4. Now put 1 cup water until meat tender.
  5. Then add chopped tomatoes, chopped ginger and tomato paste and fry it nicely until gravy is thick.
  6. Then put whole red chilies, all spice, coriander leaves and green chilies and serve with naan.

Rahra Mutton is also Unique Dish. It is Mughlai Dish. It is prepared with Mutton and served with Naan & Raita.
