Ingredients:

  • Milk 2 liter
  • Saffron 1/2 tsp
  • Yellow food color 1 pinch
  • Fresh cream 1 cup
  • Soaked rice 1 cup
  • Khoya 1 cup
  • Sugar 1-1/2 cup
  • Almonds 50 gm
  • Pistachio 50 gm
  • Raisins 50 gm
  • Coconut 50 gm
  • Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
  • Silver paper 2

Method:

  1. Cook milk.
  2. Now put saffron, soaked rice and 1 cup milk in blender and blend it.
  3. Then put in boiled milk and cook on low flame.
  4. When thick, put sugar.
  5. Then add khoya, yellow color and cardamom powder.
  6. Then take out in dish, put cream, almonds, pistachio, raisins and coconut and garnish with silver paper.

Mughlai Kesari Kheer is delicious dessert. It has rich flavor of saffron. Must try this recipe and serve with your guests.
