Lehsan Ki Moong Daal

Ingredients:

  • Moong daal 1/2 kg
  • Green garlic or Garlic 125 gm
  • Chopped tomatoes 2-3
  • Chopped green chilies 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Oil 3-4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Bhagar:

  • Garlic 3-4 cloves

Method:

  1. Clean moong daal and wash it nicely.
  2. Add moong daal, turmeric, water and salt in water and tender daal.
  3. Then heat oil in pan and crackle cumin seeds.
  4. Now put green chilies, green garlic or garlic, red chili powder and tomatoes and roast it nicely.
  5. Oil comes up, add daal and water and cook more for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Then take out dish, garnish with coriander leaves, give bhagar of garlic and serve.
