Achari Koftay Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Mince 1/2 kg
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin crushed 1 tsp
  • Gram flour 1 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Yogurt 1 tbsp

For Gravy:

  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Brown onion 3 tbsp
  • Whole red chilies 6
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Garlic cloves 3
  • Mustard 1 tsp
  • Fennel 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Onion 1/2 tsp
  • Jaggery 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tsp
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Curry leaves 20

Direction:

  1. For koftay: Chop all ingredients in chopper.
  2. Now make balls and keep it aside.
  3. For gravy: Heat oil in pan and fry all ingredients.
  4. Then put little water and koftay and simmer it on low flame for 15 minutes.
  5. Then put jaggery and vinegar and serve hot.

Achari Koftay is spicy dish. Koftay is prepared with mince, egg & yogurt. Then cooked with gravy and served.
