Saloni Biryani Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chicken boneless 1/2 kg
  • Tomatoes 1/2 kg
  • Black cumin 1 tsp
  • Plum 100 gm
  • Small cardamom 4
  • Black pepper 2 tsp
  • Green chilies 6
  • Mint leaves 1 bunch
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Onion 2
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup

For Rice:

  • Rice soaked 1/2 kg
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp

Direction:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion until brown.
  2. Now put chicken, ginger garlic, tomatoes, turmeric, salt, coriander powder, plum, cardamom, cumin, black pepper and red chili powder, cover it and cook for 20 minutes.
  3. Then heat oil in other pot and put cumin.
  4. When aroma comes, put soaked rice.
  5. Then add salt and cook it.
  6. When simmer, move rice on center and put chicken masala on center.
  7. Then add mint leaves and cover for 30 minutes.
  8. When rice simmered, close stove and serve.

Saloni Biryani is delicious & new variety biryani. Chicken is cooked with tomatoes, plum and spices. Then mixed with boiled rice & mint leaves and simmered. Serve with raita.
