Hyderabadi Gosht Ki Kadhi

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Onion 2
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Tamarind pulp 1 cup
  • White cumin 1 tbsp
  • White sesame 2 tbsp
  • Whole coriander 2 tbsp
  • Peanuts 8
  • Coconut 1 small
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves few
  • Green chilies 4
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Rice 1 tbsp

Direction:

  1. Roast cumin, sesame, coriander, peanuts, coconut and poppy seeds on tawa slightly.
  2. Soak rice and grind it.
  3. Wash mutton, put in pot with 2 cups hot water, onion, turmeric, red chili, salt and oil and cook it.
  4. When meat tender and water dries, roast is slightly, put roasted masala, tamarind pulp, green chilies and curry leaves and cook it.
  5. When green chilies tender, mix grinded rice with little water and simmer it.
  6. It is ready after 5 minutes.
  7. Serve with hot plain rice.

Hyderabadi Gosht Ki Kadhi is tasty dish. Mutton is cooked with spices. Then mixed with roasted masala & green chilies and simmered. Serve with plain rice.
