Butter Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Lemon juice 3/4 tbs[
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds crushed 3/4 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 pinch
  • All spice powder 3/4 tsp
  • Oil 3/4 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Curd 1/2 cup

For Gravy:

  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon 2 inch
  • Green cardamoms 2
  • Cloves
  • Fenugreek seeds powder 1 pinch
  • Green chilies 2
  • Tomato puree 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Almonds crushed 10
  • All spice powder 3/4 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds crushed 1/2 tbsp
  • Sugar 1/4 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • Cream 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves for garnish

Direction:

  1. Marinate chicken with red chili powder, lemon juice and salt for 20 minutes.
  2. Now put turmeric, yogurt, oil, ginger garlic paste and all spice powder.
  3. Marinate for 3-4 hours.
  4. Now put chicken in pan and cook on high flame.
  5. When chicken cooks, take out in pan.
  6. For gravy: Heat butter in other pan, fry dry spices and fry for 2 minutes.
  7. Now put tomato puree, red chili powder and salt and cook until puree is thick.
  8. Then simmer it for 3-5 minutes and add chicken.
  9. Now put all spice powder.
  10. Then garnish with cream and coriander leaves and serve.

Butter Chicken is delicious dish. Chicken is marinated with spices, yogurt and lemon juice. Then cooked and simmered with gravy. Garnish with cream & coriander and serve with hot naan.
