Thika Channa Salan
Ingredients
- 250 gm boiled chickpeas
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 boiled tomato
- 2 finely chopped tomatoes
- 4-5 green chilies
- ¼ bunch coriander, mint leaves
- ¼ cup oil
- 4-5 clove of garlic
- 1 medium ginger
- 1 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp hot spices
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 2 tbsp tamarind paste
- Salt to taste
Method
- First finely slice 2 onions, 4-5 cloves garlic, and 1 medium ginger separately and keep aside.
- Heat ¼ cup oil in a cooking pan.
- Fry in it ginger and garlic until golden.
- Then add in 250 gram boiled chickpeas.
- Fry for 2 minutes.
- Then add 2 bay leaves, 1 tbsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp whole spices, 4-5 green chilies, 1 tbsp chili powder, and salt to taste and fry more 5 minutes.
- Then add in finely sliced onions, 3 finely sliced tomatoes, 2 tbsp tamarind paste and ¼ bunch coriander and mint leaves fry more on medium flame.
- Ready to serve.
