Shami kebab

Ingredients:

  • ½ kg Minced meat
  • 2 tbsp chana daal soaked in water
  • 2 pieces daal cjomo
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 ilachi
  • 1 bunch dhaniya
  • 1 onion
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp coriander
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp pepper
  • oil for frying
  • 1 egg

Method:

  1. Wash and drain the mince. Mix the split gram, whole spices, a cup of water and salt to taste.
  2. Cook until it becomes dry. Remove from the fire and add ginger, garlic, pepper, chili powder, coriander and cumin powder and grind the mixtures into a fine paste and knead into a dough.
  3. Now add the chopped mint leaves, lime juice and salt to taste.
  4. Make lemon sized balls of the dough, flatten the balls and stuff them with a little onion mixture.
  5. Dip the stuffed kebabs in the beaten eggs and shallow fry till it’s cooked.
