Thai Rice Pudding by Chef Zakir

Ingredients:

  • Brown sugar 250 gram
  • Rice 300 gram
  • Coconut milk 300 ml
  • Egg 3
  • Vanilla essence few drops
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Cocoa powder 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. First, in one karahi pan, add one cup water, cocoa powder, half of 300 ml coconut milk and brown sugar, cook it and add rice.
  2. Now cook rice until the rice comes on the top of surface.
  3. Then close the flame, and take out in oven proof dish.
  4. Beat eggs in one bowl.
  5. Then mix remaining coconut milk, vanilla essence and sugar.
  6. When mixture is ready, spread on the top of cooked rice.
  7. Now bake it oven for 15 to 20 minutes on 200 C. Serve as cool.
