Ingredients For Bread Halwa with Apricots:

  • Bread slices  8
  • Fresh milk 1/2 liter
  • Vanilla custard  2 tbsp
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Fresh cream  1 packet
  • Almonds 20
  • Apricots 1/2 kg
  • Oil to fry

Method:

  1. Take out the almonds from the dry apricots.
  2. Pour oil in a pan, fry the bread slices lightly, make it golden brown.
  3. Then cut it from center.
  4. Now pour milk, sugar, vanilla custard then cook it.
  5. When it becomes thick then remove it from stove.
  6. After that take out in a big and wide pan, first put the fried slice, put custard on it, then put the chopped apricot, fry it lightly and put it on custard.
  7. In the end put the fried and chopped almonds, cool it and then serve.

Ingredients For Hyderabadi Khati Chicken:

  • Chicken  16 pieces 
  • Raw onion paste  2
  • Ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp
  • Turmeric  1 tsp
  • Red chili powder  1 tbsp
  • Salt  to taste
  • White cumin  1 tsp
  • Coriander seeds  1 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds  2 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds  1 tbsp
  • Tamarind paste  1 cup
  • Curry leaves  few
  • Green chilies  4
  • Oil  1 cup

Method:

  1. First pour oil in a pan, add chopped onion make it light brown.
  2. Now add chicken pieces.
  3. Along ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric and dry its water.
  4. Now put the white cumin, raisin, white cumin, whole coriander roast it on a pan, chop it.
  5. When the water of chicken dries, then add roasted masala, chopped red chili, curry leaves, green chilies, tamarind paste make it thick, hot water, cover it.
  6. When the oil starts to comes up, green chilies are tendered then delicious hyderabadi khati chicken is ready.
  7. Serve it with hot simple rice.

Ingredients For Mix Dal:

  • Yellow lentils  1 cup
  • Gram lentil 1 cup
  • Kidney beans  1 tin
  • Tomato puree  1/2 cup
  • Butter  1 tsp
  • Fresh cream  1 packet
  • Red chili  1 tbsp
  • Garlic  6 cloves
  • Chopped ginger  2 tbsp
  • Salt  to taste
  • Raw mango powder  4
  • White cumin  1 tsp
  • Whole red chilies  6
  • Chopped mint leaves  1/2 bunch
  • Oil/ clarified butter  1 cup

Method:

  1. Soak gram lentil and yellow lentil in warm water for a whole night.
  2. Now drain its water, wash it again and boil it.
  3. When the lentils are tendered then mix both and put it in one pan, beat it with wooden spoon, add red chili, raw mango powder, kidney beans, garlic cloves, salt cook it well.
  4. When it boiled add ginger garlic, fresh cream, butter.
  5. After that pour oil in a frying pan, make it hot, add white cumin, whole red chili make it brown.
  6. Then put it in lentils and serve it hot.
