Ingredients:

  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Tomato 1/2 kg
  • Plums 100 gm
  • Red chili 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chili 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Fried onion 2 cup
  • Ginger garlic 2 tsp
  • Green coriander 1 bunch
  • Green chilies 6
  • Star anise 6
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Ginger 1
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Curry leaves 6

Method:

  1. First, put chicken, 4 glass water, ginger garlic and salt and boil it.
  2. When chicken is tender, then separate stock and boti.
  3. Now add soaked rice and salt in stock and cook it.
  4. When water dries, close the stove.
  5. Heat oil in second thal, put chopped tomato, red chili, crushed red chili, turmeric, salt, chicken, ginger garlic, plums and fried onion and cook little.
  6. When all ingredients becomes soft, put rice, cover the top of thal and keep on tawa for 20 minutes.
  7. Thal boti rice is ready.
