Puri Paratha

Ingredients:

  • flour 1/2 kg
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • ghee as required 
  • water as required 

method:

  1. In a bowl add flour, salt, water and knead.
  2. Make dough balls out of the dough and leave for 5-10 minutes
For the Laee:
  1. In 2 tbsps of ghee add in 1 tbsp of flour and mix
  2. Flatten the dough balls using ur hand and put the laee on top
  3. Now sprinkle on some dry flour, then roll and fold from the bottom press a little from the top
  4. In the end put ghee on and flatten the dough balls and put a mark on all four sides.
  5. In a pan heat oil and fry the puri paratha
  6. Puri paratha are ready

Sooji ka halwa 

Ingredients:

  • semolina 250 gm
  • sugar 750 gm
  • ghee 250 gm
  • water 750 ltr
  • cardamom 5-6 pcs
  • food colour as required
  • almond , pistachio as required
  • silver paper as required

Method:

  1. Add sugar and cardomoms in water and prepare a sugar syrup
  2. In a pan roast semolina in ghee until its light brown.Then add the sugar syrup and food colouring
  3. Then leave it for dam.When you start seeing little balls the halwa is ready.
  4. Garnish with almonds, pistachios and silver paper.

Jau ka sattu

Ingredients:

  • chickpea flour 4 tbsp
  • barley flour 4 tbsp
  • jaggery 250 gm
  • water 1 ltr
  • ice as required

method:

  1. In a jug add jaggery , chickpea flour, barley flour and mix well
  2. Now add in ice and mix well (phaint lain)
  3. Pour in a glass and serve while cool.
