Mutton Karachi Karahi by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1 kg
  • Tomatoes 1/2 kg
  • Red chili 1 tsp
  • Cumin 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 cup

Spiced For Dum:

  • Chopped ginger 50 gm
  • Green chilies 50 gm
  • Dried fenugreek 1 tbsp
  • Green coriander 1 bunch
  • All spice powder 2 tsp
  • Coriander seeds 2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil and put ginger garlic paste and cumin.
  2. When fragrance comes, add mutton and roast on high flame.
  3. Then put tomatoes, red chili, salt and turmeric and cook on low flame for 45 minutes.
  4. When meat tender, put all spices of dum and cover it for 10 minutes.
