Fried Corn Chaat by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Fresh corn kernels 100 gm
  • Peanuts 40 gm
  • Soaked chana daal 40 gm

For the Masala:

  • Chopped onion 1
  • Chopped tomato 1
  • Chopped coriander 10 gm
  • Chopped green chilly 2
  • Lemon juice of 1 lemon
  • Chaat masala to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Crushed red chilies 1 tbsp

For Coating:

  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Flour 2 tbsp
  • Oil to deep fry

Method:

  1. Coat fresh corn kernels with corn flour and flour.
  2. Then deep fry until crispy and keep aside.
  3. Then deep fry soaked chana daal and keep aside.
  4. Mix fried corn, chana daal, peanuts and masala ingredients.
  5. Serve immediately fried corn chaat after tasting.
