Hara Bhara Pulao by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Beef boiled 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Onions 2
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Green cardamoms 2
  • Cloves 4
  • Lemons 6
  • Mint leaves 1 bunch
  • Coriander leaves 1 bunch
  • Green chilies paste 50 gm
  • Plum 100 gm
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Biryani essence few drops
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Black peppercorns 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt 2 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pot and fry onion until brown.
  2. Now put ginger garlic paste, green chilies paste, cumin, black peppercorns, bay leaves, cloves, green cardamoms, salt and turmeric and roast it lightly.
  3. Then add boiled beef, plum and yogurt and simmer it on low flame for 5 minutes.
  4. Then put soaked rice and 1-1/2 glass water and cook it.
  5. When water dries, simmer it.
  6. Also put mint leaves, coriander leaves and biryani essence and close stove.
  7. Hara bhara pulao is ready.
