Karahi Keema by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Mince 1/2 kg
  • Onion large slices 1
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • White cumin crushed 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes chopped 4
  • Green chilies chopped 4
  • Ginger julienne 1 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
  • Mint leaves chopped 10
  • Spring onion chopped 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion until light golden.
  2. Now put ginger garlic paste with mince, salt, red chili powder and tomatoes, cover it and cook until mince is ready.
  3. Then add cumin and coriander with 1/2 cup water, cover it and cook until mince tender nicely.
  4. Then put ginger, green chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves and spring onion and simmer it.
