Shimla Mirch Aur Chanay Ki Daal

Ingredients:

  • Boiled chana daal 2 cups
  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Capsicum 250 gm
  • Curry leaves 6
  • Tomatoes 4
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Green chilies, Coriander leaves as required

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry chicken.
  2. Now put grinded tomatoes.
  3. Also put curry leaves, red chili powder, salt, turmeric and coriander powder and roast it.
  4. Now add boiled chana daal and 1 glass water and cook on low flame for 30 minutes.
  5. Then add capsicum and simmer it for 15 minutes.
  6. Then close stove and put green chilies and coriander leaves.
