Cream Of Mushroom Soup

Ingredients:

  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Chopped garlic 1 tsp
  • Chopped onion 1/2 cup
  • Chopped mushrooms 1/2 cup
  • Maida 2 tbsp
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Salt, Black pepper to taste
  • Onion rings for garnish
  • Mushroom slice 2-3
  • Butter 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat butter in pan, add bay leaf, garlic and onion and saute until color of onion changes.
  2. Now add mushrooms and cook it.
  3. Then add maida and cook until rawness finishes.
  4. Now low flame of stove, add milk and mix to avoid lumps.
  5. When soup is thick, add salt and black pepper.
  6. Then remove from stove and take out bay leaf.
  7. Now cool it, blend it and make puree.
  8. Now put again in pan.
  9. It thick, add little water.
  10. For garnishing: Heat butter in pan, add mushroom slice, saute it, remove from stove, add onion and saute until caramelize.
  11. Now put soup in serving bowls, garnish with mushrooms and onion and serve.

Cream Of Mushroom Soup is wonderful soup. It is easy & simple soup to prepare. It is garnished with mushroom and onion.
