Hara Masala Handi

Ingredients:

  • Chicken (12 pieces) 1
  • Unpeeled garlic cloves 6
  • Coriander leaves 2 bunch
  • Green chilies 8
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Finely chopped onion 2
  • Lemons 3-4
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Fresh cream 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Grind chutney of coriander leaves, green chilies and garlic cloves.
  2. Wash chicken with lukewarm water nicely.
  3. Then put yogurt, salt and ginger garlic paste and cook in pot without cover.
  4. When water dries, remove it.
  5. Heat oil in pot and fry onion until golden brown.
  6. Then take it out and spread on paper so that it becomes crisp.
  7. Then put chutney and fry it slightly.
  8. Heat oil in frying pan.
  9. Boil chicken slightly and put in chutney pot.
  10. When put all fried chicken, put black pepper, fried onion and lemon juice and simmer it for 5 minutes.
  11. Remember it, flame should be low.
  12. Serve it with hot plain rice or parathay.

Hara Masala Handi is delicious dish. Chicken is fried and cooked with chutney. You can serve it with rice or parathay or naan.
