Peanut Butter Jelly Cupcakes

Ingredients:

  • Maida 1 cup
  • Whole wheat flour 3/4 cup
  • Granulated sugar 1/4 cup
  • Packed dark brown sugar 1/4 cup
  • Baking powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Milk 1-1/4 cups
  • Creamy peanut butter 1/3 cup
  • Egg 1
  • Butter melted 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Strawberry jam 1/4 cup

Method:

  1. Combine maida, wheat flour, sugars, brown sugar, baking powder and salt in bowl.
  2. Make a well in center of mixture.
  3. Combine milk, peanut butter, egg, butter melted and vanilla essence, add to flour mixture and stir just until moist.
  4. Spoon batter into 12 muffin cups coated with cooking spray.
  5. Fill each half cup with batter.
  6. Spoon 1 tbsp jam into each cup.
  7. Spoon remaining batter on top to cover jam.
  8. Bake at 180 degrees C for 20 minutes or until muffins spring back when touched lightly in center.
  9. Let cook on wire rack.

Peanut Butter Jelly Cupcakes is amazing dessert. Prepared with wheat flour, brown sugar and peanut butter. Jam is filled between mixture and baked.
