Chicken Katakat

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Mustard paste 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Katakat masala 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Ginger as required
  • Coriander leaves few
  • Brown onion 1
  • Oil as required

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with all ingredients except katakat masala and brown onion for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in pan, add marinated chicken and cook until oil separates.
  3. Then add brown onion and katakat masala, cook more for 10-15 minutes, garnish with ginger slices and coriander leaves and serve hot.

Chicken Katakat is delicious dish. Chicken is marinated and fried in oil. Garnished with coriander leaves & ginger slices and served with naan. You can prepare it with mutton or beef.
