Vegetable Tempura Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes 150 gm
  • Carrots 150 gm
  • Capsicums 150 gm
  • Onions 150 gm
  • Salad leaves for serving

For Batter:

  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Corn flour 1/2 cup
  • Crushed red pepper 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce 2 tbsp
  • Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

Direction:

  1. Cut potatoes, carrots, capsicums and onions finely slices.
  2. Put all ingredients of batter except oil in bowl and make thick batter.
  3. Then heat oil in pan, dip vegetables in batter and deep fry it.
  4. Then take it out and serve with salad leaves.

Vegetable Tempura is tasty side dish. Potato, carrot, capsicum and onion are cut into finely slices. Then dipped in gram flour & corn flour batter and deep fried. Serve with dip.
