Drumsticks Ki Khatti Dal

Ingredients:

  • Drumsticks 8
  • Red masoor daal 1 cup
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Tamarind pulp 1 cup
  • Curry leaves few
  • Green chilies 4

For Bhagar:

  • Red chilies whole 4-6
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves few
  • Oil 1 cup

Direction:

  1. Drain water of soaked daal, put lukewarm water again, boil it and tender it.
  2. Then blend it, put in pot again and add red chili powder, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, salt and drumsticks.
  3. Drumsticks tender, put tamarind pulp, curry leaves and green chilies and cook it.
  4. When green chilies tender, put red chilies, white cumin and curry leaves in  frying pan and fry until black.
  5. Then put in daal and serve hot.

Drumsticks Ki Khatti Dal is tasty & new dish. Red masoor daal is boiled & blended. Then cooked with drumsticks & green chilies, bhagar is added and served.
