Ingredients:

  • Walnut 1 cup.
  • Fresh milk 1 liter.
  • Khoya 1 cup.
  • Sugar 1 cup.
  • Ghee or oil 3 tbsp.
  • Milk powder 2 cups.
  • Green cardamom 8.

Method:

  1. In a grinder add cardamom and sugar and grind it until it becomes very fine.
  2. Take a saucepan and pour milk into it.
  3. Add the mixture of sugar and cardamom and cook it on low flame.
  4. Cook it till it becomes thick.
  5. Take another sauce pan and add ghee in it.
  6. Sauté cardamom till aroma comes
  7. At this stage add walnuts and milk powder and khoya.
  8. Now combine the thick milk in it.
  9. Let it cook on low flame.
  10. When the milk has dried, roast the halwa.
  11. Take it out in a dish.
