  • 3 lb Round Beef Steak, 1/2 " Thick
  • 2 tbsp Dry Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Salt Or To Taste
  • 1/4 tsp    Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Cooking Oil Or As Needed
  • 10 oz Mushroom Stems & Pieces
  • 1 tbsp Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Beef Stock


  1. Cut meat into small pieces. Pound each piece until 1/4-inch or less.
  2. Mix mustard and spices and dredge meat on both sides in mixture.
  3. Have large frying pan medium hot with oil.
  4. Fry a few pieces at a time 1 to 1/12 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  5. Keep warm.
  6. In a separate bowl, drain mushrooms, reserving liquid, set aside.
  7. Add mushroom liquid and Hot sauce to pan.
  8. Simmer and scrape off pan drippings.
  9. Add mushrooms and beef stock, heat, you may thicken the liquid wit flour or cornstarch if desired, and serve over meat.
