A seed known as rice is now the most common food throughout the world especially in the Asian continent. It is the third largest production worldwide. For many people, rice is a necessity as it is the main calorie source. When it is harvested, it is covered by a hull and inside it is the grain that we eat. If we consider each continent except Antarctica, more than forty thousand varieties of rice are grown. There are a number of rice dishes served such as in Arabia, it is used with fish, meat, vegetables, poultry and deserts while in some regions, bread is made from rice flour. It is also used as porridge for people who are sick. Nowadays many people are using brown rice to reduce weight and calories.

Rice can also treat constipation as it is rich in fibers plus it is recommended to have brown rice as much as you can because it is a shield against many diseases and disorders.
