Water

Water in Urdu: پانی

Water in Roman Urdu: pani

Just imagine how would our life be without this transparent tasteless fluid known as water? We had to take bath with mud? Drink only milk? The beautiful lakes, rivers, oceans, streams and rain with a plenty of water makes us think how attractive our mother land is. The surface of Earth is covered by 71 percent of water and in the world economy it is playing a key role. It is the only substance that can be molded into all the three states of solid, liquid and gas. Our body needs seven liters of water in a single day otherwise we can get dehydrated. It is sad that although we have excessive water, but when it comes to the supply side, it is really scarce just because in our country we don't have proper machinery or dams to store water. Usefulness of water is what matters to us, all the living things are made of water mostly and we use it extensively for washing, drinking, cooking, cleaning, generating electricity and in many other things. Coming to the household, water is luxuriously needed. We need forty gallons for only a shower, approximately twenty-five gallons for washing clothes, twenty gallons for dish washing and cooking and watering gardens also needs a lot of water. Moreover, if we have a farm, then even millions of gallons would be less. We cannot stop writing if we consider how much water we need and we use, it is just infinite.

Nutritional value:

  • Water aids each and every cell in our body to function properly.
  • No carbohydrates, proteins or fats are found in water.
  • The element of fluoride makes our teeth stronger.
  • Helps relieve congestion.
  • Internal organs are activated.

Benefits of drinking water:

  • Help in weight loss if we drink it before eating meals.
  • Regulates our digestive system.
  • Prevents dehydration after exercise or any activity.
  • A shield to bladder and breast cancer.
  • Makes a positive change in mood.
  • Reduce headaches and stomach aches.
  • Makes us much alert and active all the time.
  • If you are feeling lonely, dip yourself in warm water and you would feel divine.
  • Makes our skin shine and smooth.
I conclude by saying that save water as much as you can as there are people in the rural areas who don't have a single drop of water to drink and the end result is that they die in thirst. So, we should not take care of ourselves only but we should work for social welfare as much as we can.
