Spinach Rice

  • 2 cups Rice.
  • 1 bag of fresh spinaches.
  • 2 garlic cloves.
  • Grated cheese.
  • Salt  to taste


  1. In a deep pot pour olive oil to cover the bottom.
  2. Heat it up and add the garlic thinly sliced.
  3. When golden brown, add the spinach, previously washed and cut in chunks and add some salt.
  4. Stir well with a wooden spoon to make it absorb the oil. Add 2 ½ cups of rice and stir well.
  5. Pour 2 ½ cups of hot water. Let it cook, add more water if necessary.
  6. Serve immediately with grated cheese so it melts.
