Balochi Murgh Leg Biryani

Ingredients:

  • Chicken leg 1/2 kg
  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Brown onion 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Plum 100 gm
  • Whole spice 2 tsp
  • Red chili 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Chinese salt 1 pinch
  • Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Lemon 2
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Yellow color 1 pinch
  • Kewra 1 drop
  • Tomatoes 3
  • Green chilies 3
  • Roasted cumin 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 2 tsp
  • Nutmeg mace 1 tsp
  • Crushed pomegranate seeds 2 tsp
  • Whole red chilies 3

Method:

  1. Put salt on chicken, leave it in water for 5 minutes, take out with strainer, fry in pan until golden brown and take it out.
  2. Then put oil in pot, fry onion until golden brown, add ginger garlic, whole spice, red chili, turmeric, coriander powder, kewra, green chilies, cumin, pomegranate seeds, nutmeg mace, whole red chilies and tomatoes and roast it.
  3. Now add fried chicken, add soaked rice and simmer it.
  4. Then add plum, mint leaves, lemon, Chinese salt, bay leaf and yellow color and serve hot.
