Recheado Shrimps

Ingredients:

  • Prawns 1/2 kg
  • Recheado masala 3-4 tbsp
  • Onion cubes 2
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

For Recheado Masala:

  • Kashmiri chilies 20
  • Garlic 8 cloves
  • Ginger 2 inch
  • Cinnamon 2 inch
  • Cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Cloves 10
  • Vinegar 1/2 cup
  • Small chopped onion 1
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. For recheado masala: Put chilies, garlic, ginger, cinnamon, cumin, black pepper, turmeric and cloves in vinegar and leave for 20 minutes.
  2. Now heat oil in pan and saute onion.
  3. When onion cooks nicely, add sugar, close stove and keep it aside.
  4. Then grind soaked ingredients and make thick paste.
  5. Then add onion sugar mixture and mix it.
  6. Then pack in airtight box.
  7. Now marinate prawns with salt and recheado masala for 1 hours.
  8. Now heat oil in pan and fry prawns with remaining recheado masala on high flame.
  9. When prawns are nicely coated and fried, take out from pan and keep it aside.
  10. Now put onion in this pan and stir fry until it is completely cooked.
  11. Now put prawns again with 1/2 cup water and fry until it is completely cooked.

Recheado Shrimps is spicy dish. Prawns is marinated with recheado masala. Recheado masala is prepared of Kashmiri chilies.
